DOEPFER / A-190-5 USB MIDI Polyphonic CV / Gate Interface

Variations

This module, manufactured by the German synthesizer company Doepfer, converts MIDI/USB signals to CV/Gate signals. The MIDI channel and assigned voice number can be flexibly configured, allowing for a variety of applications depending on the settings.

The A-190-5 Polyphonic USB/Midi-to-CV/Gate Interface is a 4-voice converter module that converts MIDI/USB signals to CV/Gate signals. Each voice features a pitch CV output (CV1, a 1V/Oct output for controlling the VCO pitch), a gate output (Gate, for controlling the envelope generator), and two additional control CV outputs (CV2, CV3). The two additional control CV outputs can be controlled via MIDI velocity, volume, modulation, pitch bend, aftertouch, or a freely assignable MIDI controller.

The MIDI channel and assigned voice number can be flexibly configured, allowing for a variety of applications depending on the configuration.
