Eurorack Modular Synthesizer

The A-141-2 Voltage Controlled Envelope Generator (VCADSR/VCLFO) is an envelope module that allows manual or CV control of each ADSR parameter. Many features have been added compared to its predecessor, the A-141, and it can now also be used as a VCLFO.

For simple envelope use, inputting signals to Gate In and Retrig. In will output envelope signals from Fixed Out (positive phase) and Inverse Out (negative phase). The Variable Out changes the envelope level based on the CV input to Level CV In. For example, you could input a velocity-generated CV to Level CV In to change the envelope level based on the strength with which you play a key.

The envelope time range can be switched in three stages using the Range switch. Common CV In controls the A, D, and R times together. Inputting key CVs allows you to reproduce the sound of stringed instruments such as pianos, where the envelope time shortens as the pitch gets higher. It is also used as frequency control in VCLOF mode.

EOA (End Of Attack) and EOR (End Of Release) outputs pulses at the end of the attack and release, respectively. These two outputs can be used as trigger delays.
