Sound House Warranty Stipulations

Warranty Contents

At Sound House, we want our valued customers to feel at ease when shopping with us, so we provide a 3-year warranty included with a purchase. Based on user manuals/warning labels, we will provide you with repair service for items that have become damaged through normal wear and tear.

We cannot perform repairs and the warranty will become void under the following conditions:

  1. Improper handling of the product causing damage (Ex: broken wire connection, visible outer cracks or dents, and burned out voice coils）
  2. If you seek repairs from someone outside of Sound House, as well as the manufacturers and dealers.
  3. The customer tries to perform his own repairs or customize the item to cause breakdown and damage.
  4. Damages caused by natural disasters（fire、salt, gas, earth quake, rock slide, flood damage, etc.
  5. Item is damaged due to foreign matter attaching to the item causing damage.
  6. Falls outside or receiving damage from a high impact.
  7. Abnormal voltage or using improper power supplies such as a generator that will cause abnormal power flow.
  8. Used parts（batteries, fuse, vacuum tube, belt, light bulbs, stylus, extraneous parts、guitar strings, etc.）types of exchanges
  9. Products needing regular maintenance fail to work due to lack of maintenance caused the item to break down (Ex: Smoke screens or stage production equipment become clogged, equipment needing cleaning, changing cables, etc.) due to lack of cleaning
  10. Cables, sticks, consummable goods
  11. Anything else deemed outside the warranty by the maker and agency.
  12. The maker has stopped selling a certain item or has stopped making parts.
  13. The maker has stopped supplying parts or we cannot obtain parts from outside sellers.
  14. The manufacturer has become bankrupt, closed down, or completely stopped doing business.
  15. Items that have less than one year warranty from the manufacturer. (Ex: headphones or earphones)

Precautions

Sound House's warranties can only be upheld in Japan. Under no circumstances does Sound House takes no reponsibility for items damaged resulting from the failure of the product (loss of acessory devices, loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or monetary damages, etc.).

Warranty Period

■Sound House Warranty is for 3 years.
However、for items purhcased on February 28, 2019, are excluded as those purchases will only have a 1 year warranty.
The warranty lasts 3 years from the date of purchase.保証期間は出荷日から3年間になります。

■Maker, Dealer Limitations

Depending on the item, the warranty peirod, the item with a warranty will have limitations. In this instance, we will comply with the manufacturer warranty and the agency warranty.
Depending on the maker and the agency, the warranty period will perform repairs free of charge when the item meets the conditions of the manufacturer and is still under warranty. Without presenting the warranty, even if the item in question is still under warranty, repairs will be charged with a maintenance fee. Please keep the warranty paper safe.

Early Failure

After receiving an item, if early failure is the reason for returning an item, the item must meet the following conditions.

  1. After purchasing, the customer must contact Sound House within 2 week of purchase.
  2. The customer has confirmed with Sound House Customer Support or the maker that the cause of an item malfunction is due to early failure.
  3. The customer can prepare all of the original packaging materials, including the original box and warranty.

*Exchanges or repairs will be decided by Sound House or the maker.
