DOEPFER / A-111-2 High End VCO

Variations

This module is made by Doepfer, a German synthesizer manufacturer. It is a high-end oscillator/LFO module boasting high precision.

The A-111-2 High End VCO II / VCLFO is a high-precision, high-end oscillator/LFO module. It is the successor to the A-111-1 High-End VCO, which was discontinued due to the end of production of the CEM3340 IC chip.

• Triangle Core
• Fully Analog Design
• 15 Octave Pitch Range (0.5Hz–20kHz in VCO mode, 0.001Hz–40Hz in LFO mode)
• Full 1V/Oct Tracking, Minimum 10 Octaves
• Exponential Frequency Control and Input
• Tune (+/- 1 Octave Range)
• Fine (+/- 1 Semitone Range)
• Octave (6-Position Range Switch)
• 1V/Oct CV Input
• XFM Input with Attenuator
• Access to Internal CV Bus (Can be turned OFF with Jumper Pin Setting if Not Needed)
• Linear Frequency Control and Input
• LF (Manual Linear Frequency Control: Fully Clockwise = Standard VCO Setting, Fully Counterclockwise = Nearly 0Hz)
• Also Operates as Range Control for Exponential Section
• DC-Compatible LFM Input with Attenuator
• Pulse Width Control and Input (For square wave/pulse wave output)
• PW (Manual Pulse Width Control)
• PWM Input with Attenuator
• Hard Sync Input
• Soft Sync Input
• Waveform Output: Sawtooth Wave, Square Wave (Controlled from Pulse Width Section), Triangle Wave, Sine Wave
• Range Switch to Select VCO/VCLFO Mode; Frequency Ratio of VCO Mode to LFO Mode is Approximately 1:500
• Dual Color LED Display (Displays Low Frequencies Below Approximately 25 Hz)
• Outputs Nearly Perfect Waveforms with No Glitches
• Triangle Wave to Sine Wave Converter that Outputs Excellent Sine Waves
