The maximum amplification can be switched between 1x, 2x, and 4x. In position 1, the amplifier is disabled and functions as an attenuator.
The level can be adjusted between 0 and the maximum amplification (1/2/4) using the level control.
Two overload LEDs illuminate when the output signal exceeds approximately +10V or falls below approximately -10V.
Two inputs and two outputs are provided.
The primary use of this module is to match different audio/CV levels between different modules or systems. For example, it can be used to increase or decrease the LFO, ADSR, and Gate levels of modules from different manufacturers.
It cannot be used as an amplifier for low-level external audio signals such as microphones or electric guitars.
