DOEPFER is a module equipped with two 1-in-3-out buffered multiples. When no cable is plugged into the lower input, the input signal from the upper input is output directly from the lower input, allowing it to function as a 1-in-6-out buffered multiple.
The A-180-3 Dual Buffered Multiple is a module equipped with two 1-in, 3-out buffered multiples. Unlike passive multiples such as the A-180-1, which experience voltage drop, it minimizes voltage drop by passing the signal through a buffer. The input signal is split into three outputs, each with its own individual buffer. If no cable is connected to the lower input, the upper input signal is also output from the lower output, functioning as a 1-in, 6-out buffered multiple.

By changing the settings using the jumper pins on the back of the module, you can also connect the bus CV of the mounted case to the input of the lower unit.
