The A-160-2 Clock/Trigger Divider II is a clock/trigger divider module that extends the functionality of the standard A-160 CLOCK DIV. The clock divider divides the frequency of the input signal and outputs it. This module is designed for low frequency sources such as clock/trigger/gate signals, especially rhythms.

The clock inputs are mainly connected to clock signals from LFOs, MIDI sync, etc., or trigger pulses from the MIDI-CV interface. The outputs provide seven separate signals that can be switched into three sets.

The A-160-2 has a reset input. Whenever a reset signal is detected, all outputs are set to a specific level depending on the selected mode.

Gate mode General divider behavior.
Trigger mode The output is ANDed with the clock signal. (The pulse width of the clock depends on the pulse width of the output.)
Clock Edge Type Selection of clock edge type (replace jumper pins on PC board)

Positive The state of the output changes when the clock signal rises.
Negative: The state of the output changes when the clock signal goes down.
Setting the reset operation (replace the two jumper pins on the PC board)

Level Trigger Reset is triggered by any input to the reset input.
Edge Trigger Reset is triggered by the edge of the signal input to the Reset input.
Positive Trigger Reset is triggered by a rising signal of 2.5 V or more input to the Reset input.
Negative Reset is triggered by a falling signal of 1 V or less input to the Reset input.
Setting the polarity of the output signal (by replacing the jumper pins on the PC board)

Positive Normal output.
Negative The polarity of all 7 outputs is reversed.
