The A-130-8 Octal Linear VCA is a VCA module with eight linear VCAs. Each VCA has a CV input (CV), signal input (In), and signal output (Out). 1-4 jacks output the sum of VCAs 1-4, 5-8 jacks output the sum of VCAs 5-8, and 1-8 jacks output the sum of all eight VCAs.
The signal inputs can handle levels up to 10 Vpp without clipping. Each CV input is equipped with a trimming potentiometer to adjust the sensitivity of that CV input. The CV range is factory adjusted to CV range 1 to +5V, but can be readjusted by the user for other CV ranges (e.g., 0 to +10V).

The amplification range of each individual VCA is 0 to 1.

The VCAs and mixer are fully DC coupled and can be used to process both audio signals and CVs; the CV and signal inputs can be no-marked using small solder pads. (e.g., 1 > 2 > 3 > 4, etc., or 1 > 5, 2 > 6, 3 > 7, 4 > 8, etc. for stereo applications described below)
