Variations

The A-111-3 Micro Precision VCO / VCLFO is a 4 HP size high precision oscillator.

The A-111-2 has the same basic circuitry as the high-end VCO/LFO A-111-2, but with only a few key features and an astonishingly small footprint of 4HP.

Triangle core
- Complete analog design
- Pitch range of 15 octaves (0.5Hz to 20kHz in VCO mode, 0.001Hz to 40Hz in LFO mode)
- Switchable between VCO mode and LFO mode
- Approximately 24 octaves total in both modes (0.001 Hz ~ 20kHz)
・Full 1V/Oct tracking, minimum 10 octaves
Exponential frequency section
Tune range switchable via internal jumper (0.5 / 2 / 10 octaves)

Jumper position 1 (without external CV): 16 Hz-20kHz
- Jumper position 2 (without external CV): 16 Hz-70Hz
- No jumper (without external CV): 16 Hz-22Hz
Frequency can be adjusted by user as needed

Frequency ratio between VCO mode and LFO mode: approx. 1:500, LFO mode frequency range: approx. 40 Hz

1V/Octave input
XM (Exponential Frequency Modulation) input
with attenuator; + voltage is connected internally when XM input is not in use, XM control can be used for fine tuning. Access to internal bus CV. (Jumper can be removed to turn this feature off)

LM (Linear Frequency Modulation) input
DC compatible

PM (Pulse Wise Modulation) Input
PW Can be manually controlled 0% ~ 100% by turning the knob, or by inputting an external CV signal. A voltage of 5 Vpp is required to control all ranges.

SY (Sync) Input
Hard sync/soft sync can be switched by switching an internal jumper.

Waveform Output
Rising sawtooth, square/pulse, and triangle waves (voltage range: 0 ~ +10V)

Outputs near-perfect waveforms without glitches; dual color LEDs for confirmation in LFO mode
