Variations

The A-105-2 is a voltage-controlled low-pass filter with a slope of 24 dB/Oct.

This module is the successor to the A-105, which was discontinued due to the discontinuation of the SSM2044 IC. The A-105-2 is based on the SSI2144, the successor to the SSM2044 IC. The functions of both units are almost the same, but the main difference is the width of the front panel (4 HP compared to 8 HP for the A-105) and the associated repositioning of the various control knobs and input/output terminals. In addition, the A-105-2 has two audio inputs.

Controls
Frequ control knob: Manually controls the cutoff frequency.
FCV2 control knob: Attenuates the CV input signal at the FCV2 terminal.
Q control knob: Manually controls resonance.
QCV control knob: Manually controls the CV input signal at the QCV terminal. Input 1 Level control knob: Attenuates the CV input signal at the Input 1 terminal

The two input signals are mixed before processing with the filter. This allows an external mixer to be used with minimal setup.
