Variations

The A-100 PBK is a powered flat portable case for Eurorack modular synthesizers with a 37-key keyboard in the lid and the ability to mount modules up to 188 HP worth.

A 37-key keyboard (Fatar 37TP/9 semi-weighted keyboard) with monophonic aftertouch for performance is mounted on the case lid and connects to a 2HP keyboard connection module mounted on the case using a 3.5mm stereo cable. The keyboard connection module can be mounted in the top or bottom of the case, in the position of your choice. The Keyboard Connection Module provides a MIDI Out (3.5mm stereo MIDI standard) to output the keyboard's MIDI data (MIDI channel 1, minimum note number 36, note On/Off, aftertouch support). The keyboard connection module's MIDI output can be polyphonic (A-190-5 Polyphonic USB/Midi-to-CV/Gate Interface) or monophonic (A-190-3 USB/MIDI-to-CV/Gate Interface, A-190-4 The 3.5mm MIDI connector has two jumpers to select between two MIDI standards (Type A or Type B). The A-100 PBK comes with a 3.5mm to DIN5Pin conversion cable.

The top panel space is designed to accommodate an A-100 P6 or A-100 P9.

The power supply unit is a high-capacity PSU3 with +5V output. The power supply uses a 3-pin AC cable.

The flight case is made of a wooden board and metal frame with a handle. The cover can be attached for immediate transport.

Precautions for use
Do not mount modules whose height from the panel surface exceeds approximately 40 mm. (e.g. : A-174-4 Joystick II or other modules with height)
If you patch and cover the lid, make sure that the height is less than 40 mm. (Do not use Stackcable.)
Before placing the lid on the A-100 PBK, carefully check that there is enough space for the keyboard to avoid interference. If there is no space and interference occurs, the keyboard or module may be damaged.
If the keyboard is damaged due to lack of space (e.g., when using modules over 40 mm high or patch cables), the warranty will be void.
The A-100 PBK is 50 mm longer in width than the A-100 PB due to the size of the keyboard, so the lids are not compatible.
