This module is manufactured by German synthesizer manufacturer Doepfer. It is a -24dB SSM2044 type VCF designed for building polyphonic patches.

The A-105-4 Quad Poly VCF is a -24dB SSM2044-type VCF designed for building polyphonic patches. It features four identical VCFs, each with a common manual control knob and CV inputs with attenuators for these parameters.

Each filter has its own independent FM input and audio input/output. Typically, the FM input is connected to the output of an envelope generator (such as the A-141-4). The envelope amount for all four filters can be controlled via the FM control and CVFM input, allowing CV control of the envelope amount.

The CVF input with attenuator allows for frequency modulation common to all filters using an LFO or similar.

The audio input level control (L) ranges from typical A-100 audio levels (such as A_111-4) at the filter input, allowing for clipping/distortion. This parameter can also be CV controlled.

The resonance control common to all filters can also be CV controlled.
