This Vactrol series phaser module is manufactured by German synthesizer manufacturer Doepfer, and is composed of a combination of an LDR (Light Depending Resistor) element and an LED.
This Vactrol series phaser combines an LDR (Light Depending Resistor) element with an LED. The Vactrol circuit is characterized by a smooth, mild sound with little distortion. The A-101-3 has a modular configuration of two 6-stage units, which can be used independently or serially connected to form a total of 12 stages. Furthermore, by changing the stage output, you can use any number of stages, set the feedback point to any position, and set negative feedback, achieving the high degree of sound creation flexibility that only a modular unit can offer. Of course, phase shift can be controlled both manually and via CV.
