As a guideline, bands that include drums should use a bass amp with at least 40W to 100W.
If your guitar amp is around 30W, a bass amp with twice the output will provide a better balance.
Example: 30W guitar → 60W or more is recommended for bass.
If the bass sound is getting drowned out, using a 10-15 inch speaker will produce deep bass notes that won't get lost in the mix with the drums and guitar.
Also, raising the mids will create a more forward-sounding sound so that it doesn't overlap with the kick drum (low notes).
