Do steel strings rust when stored for long periods of time? Are there any storage methods to prevent rusting?

Rust may occur depending on changes in humidity and temperature in the environment where the product is stored. Storing the strings in a box with a desiccant (humidity regulator) will help reduce the occurrence of rust. If the strings are stored in a plastic case in a place with low humidity, they can be stored for several years as a general guideline.

Please note that if the string surface has any adhesions during the manufacturing/sealing stage, rust, blackening, etc. may occur if these are left unattended, regardless of humidity control.

Since we do not guarantee consumables and strings are treated as consumables, please take measures such as checking the surface of the strings in a timely manner for string management.
