As this is for stereo recording, the price is higher.
There are some individual differences in microphones. When recording in stereo, the left and right sound quality and balance may differ due to this individual difference. In order to prevent this, the manufacturer selects a microphone with similar characteristics, so the price is higher than the single mic.
