LDI Show 2024

I went to the exhibition “LDI 2024”, which was held over three days from December 8th to 10th 2024.
LDI stands for Live Design International, and is one of the largest exhibitions in the United States related to stage and theater technology. It was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The main purpose of this visit is to attend the conference being held at the Elation booth.

At the Elation booth, they used the lighting fixtures on display to explain the features of the products and give demonstrations to match the live performances.
The light fixture that particularly caught my eye during the demo was the Pulse Bar. The pink line that shines behind the drums is the Pulse Bar. As well as being able to emit each color in RGB, the center of this light fixture is fitted with a cool white LED, and the strobe effect is also quite powerful. There are two sizes, S and L, and depending on how they are arranged and combined, the appearance changes, making them an interesting point in terms of production, and they looked great at the live performance.

After the ELATION booth, we also received a product explanation at the Obsidian booth.
We were shown a demonstration using the latest NX series model, the NX4, and the ONYX software that operates the NX series, and we experienced the process of controlling lighting and video design.

At this conference, in addition to the Pulse and NX mentioned above, they also explained each series, including Fuze, KL, Proteus, Artise, Paladin, and Paragon, using actual equipment.

After the conference, we took a look around the venue, so I'd like to introduce that to you.

ADJ was also exhibiting next to Elation.

There was a booth with smoke coming out of it, so I went over and saw that Antari was also exhibiting there.

Daslight was also exhibiting.

There was also a stage where each company gave product explanations.

The lighting seats are what I can't help but notice.
The NX series is used here, and what is surprising is the number of them - there were over 20 installed. A spectacular sight...

There was a bar inside the venue, and the lighting was cool.

The LDI Show was brought to a close with a drone show held outdoors. It was, to put it mildly, amazing.
This was my first time attending the LDI Show, but it was a valuable experience for me to be able to see lighting from all over the world.
