Wireless Control App for JBL Powered PA Speakers! New JBL Pro Connect V2.3 Release!

JBL has released version 2.3 of its dedicated app "JBL Pro Connect", which allows wireless control of JBL powered PA speakers.

Along with various new features and performance improvements, the latest firmware updates for the following speaker models have also been released:
EON700 Series, EON ONE Compact, EON ONE Mk2, PRX900 Series, and PRX ONE.
The JBL Pro Connect app includes all the essential functions to easily and quickly set up your speaker and PA system, from volume control to EQ, Lexicon reverb/effects (on supported models), dbx Digital DriveRack signal processing, and saving/recalling presets.

Update Procedure for JBL PRO CONNECT App

If the firmware version of the speaker is not compatible with the latest version of the app, JBL PRO CONNECT will display a message in English: "The firmware version of the unit is unsupported. Please update."
To use JBL Pro Connect v.2.3, you must update the speaker's firmware to the latest version. Follow these steps:

1. Press OK.
2. Tap the mark next to "Firmware Updated".
3. Tap the mark next to "Update firmware".
4. When the "Bluetooth pairing request" appears, select "Pair".
5. The installation will begin. Once it reaches 100%, the speaker will automatically restart, and the update will be complete.

The following is the screen transition for EON ONE Mk2.

■ If the update does not go smoothly, check the following items:

• Try uninstalling and reinstalling the JBL PRO CONNECT app.
• Delete previously connected JBL speakers displayed in the Setup screen of JBL PRO CONNECT.
• Power cycle the speaker (turn it off and then on again).
• Perform a factory reset on the speaker (Main Menu → Settings → Factory Reset).
• Try using a different device.
• Delete the list of previously connected Bluetooth devices on your device.
