[2025 New Products] CLASSIC PRO CSR Series Powered Speakers with DSP

Hello, I am the speaker manager at Sound House, Kawanishi.
This is the first new product in a long time for CLASSIC PRO's PA speakers.
This time, I would like to introduce the CSR Series!

As a trend over the past few years, standard manufacturers such as JBL, YAMAHA, and Electro-Voice have been introducing new powered speakers more and more. Sales are also increasing at Sound House, making it a category that is currently attracting a lot of attention.

Recommended points of the CSR series

1. Affordable price for easy introduction

The lowest price in the same size and the same output power class!
CSR10P is 10 inches, 1400W (max.), and is equipped with DSP for only 39,800 yen (tax included).

2. Simple + 1 (DSP)

Simple to use. In addition to this, the DSP is equipped as an additional convenient feature!
The DSP for CSR series full-range speakers (CSR10P、CSR12P)and subwoofers(CSR15SP、CSR18SP)allows the following parameters to be set, so that even individual speakers can be set to suit the application and environment.

The Bluetooth functionality of the full-range speaker can be used for simple music playback with a single speaker, but in addition it supports TWS mode, which allows two speakers connected by Bluetooth to be used in L and R stereo playback. In short, as long as you have a smartphone and two speakers, you can enjoy stereo sound sources that seem to multiply each other in a wireless environment with no wiring, without the need for a mixer.

3. Volume and Sound Quality

The volume and sound quality, which cannot be compromised, have also been carefully considered.

The system uses a high-output Class D amplifier and a coaxial driver (full range)! What is a coaxial driver? What is a coaxial driver? In a nutshell, this is what it means.

I think there are a lot of people who are still wondering what a coaxial driver is. Can you see the big difference from common 2-way full-range speakers?

Yes, that’s it. At a quick glance, there is no high-frequency driver! But in fact, of course there is.
Just like this!

Unlike typical 2-way speakers, coaxial speakers have a woofer (low/midrange) and a driver (high frequency) on the same axis, so that all bands of sound come from one place, allowing you to enjoy uniform directivity and a natural, well-balanced, and unified sound.

4. Easy System Expansion

If you want more bass, you can add a subwoofer to create a stereo 2-way system. However, as shown below, this requires a large amount of preparation, including an external crossover (channel divider) . And for passive speakers, there are two power amplifiers, one for the full-range speakers and the other for the subwoofer.

With the CSR series, all you need to do is to set up speaker-to-speaker connection with a single cable, full-range low-cut, and subwoofer low-pass filter!

As I said, even with the same full-range sound, the addition of a subwoofer adds a thick bass that seems to resonate right into your body, making the overall sound more dense, informative, and cool!

As a side note, the CSP10P and CSR12P have easy-to-grip handles on the top and sides, and lifting them up is a breeze. This is an important point if you move around a lot!

5. Adaptable to various installation methods

Full-range speakers (CSR10P and CSR12P) can be installed in a variety of operating environments.

35 mm-diameter speaker stand mount

There are two pole mount sockets on the bottom to accommodate normal horizontal and 7.5° downward installation for use when the face of the listener is in a lower position!

Floor Monitor

Turn it sideways and place it on the floor to turn it into a floor monitor.

Hanging

If you attach commercially available M10 eyebolts to it, it can be suspended from the ceiling using wire or chain.
