Sound House's own brand PLAYTECH has introduced new colors like pink and sky blue to its popular plastic euphonium PTEP100 series (*'▽').

The euphonium is also notable as the instrument played by the main character in the anime “Hibike! Euphonium" (Sound! Euphonium!”.The third season of the anime started this past April, and it can be said that the euphonium is one of the hottest brass instruments in Japan right now!

Even when stored in the attached semi-hard case with casters, it is easy to carry and move because of its light weight. In addition to the plastic mouthpiece that comes with the euphonium, it is possible to replace the mouthpiece with a thick mouthpiece made by another maker. “Uta yo～” “Gales of Song” U from belle | Miho Hazama “TOKYO JAZZ 2022 NEO-SYMPHONIC! CINEMA JAZZ

This is a video of a concert conducted by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and jazz composer and conductor, Miho Hazama. This is a one-night-only concert with the theme of “Movies and Jazz”. Guests included singer Kaho Nakamura, trumpet player Takuya Kuroda, piano player Fumitake Ezaki, bass player Kaoruhei Nakabayashi, and drummer Shun Ishiwaka.
The piece performed was “Gales of Song” from the main theme from the anime film Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime (Belle) . The collaboration of an orchestra and jazz music makes me wonder about the possibilities of music. I would actually love to go to a concert.
