Last time I introduced some handy drum accessories from Gibraltar, but this time I’m going to show you 5 larger hardware items that always come in handy!
GIBRALTAR / GSVMS-KIT
First up is the GSVMS-KIT stand kit.
This stand kit allows you to set up a tom, a snare drum, and a cymbal all on one stand, which features a long pipe.
Usually, three stands are required for this setup: Two stands for the snare drum and the cymbal, and in case the tom is set up independently, one more stand is needed. The GSVMS-KIT is a complete stand kit that can easily be set up with a drum set and be transported with less hardware.

Regarding the ease of use, it really is stress-free. The joints for the snare drum and the tom are not tilters for angle adjustment, but instead, the GSVMS-KIT uses ball joints for stepless adjustment that gives a high degree of freedom when setting up and can be adjusted to any desired angle.
GIBRALTAR / SC-GFTCCK
This SC-GFTCCK is a kick pedal with a distinctive look, but can you take a guess on how to use it?
This is a conversion kit that can convert a floor tom into a cocktail drum.
Attach the arms extending left and right to the floor tom legs. The inverted cam on the kick pedal allows the beater to hit the bottom head of the floor tom upward when the drummer steps on the footboard.
Cocktail drums were first marketed by YAMAHA as the “Club Jordan” model and was a popular drum set that fulfilled every drummers’ desire to play a drum set with a solid shell outdoors or in small spaces.
Now that the Club Jordan has been discontinued, the only other model available is TAMA’s Cocktail-JAM Kit, which was released with a similar concept. It’s so hard to find a model that meets all the criteria!
The SC-GFTCCK is a conversion kit that can be attached to any floor tom with legs, and with any shell to convert the floor tom to a cocktail drum with just one piece of hardware.
The kit can be attached to a 16’’ floor tom with a depth that most floor toms have, so it can be played as a normal drum like the TAMA Cocktail-JAM Kit while sitting. If you happen to find a used cocktail drum that needs restoring, you can use the SC-GFTCCK as a kit for that too.
The SC-GFTCCK is a useful piece of hardware that can be augmented in whatever shape comes out of your imagination.
GIBRALTAR / G3GCDCP
The G3GCDCP enables a cajón to be played with a kick pedal instead of playing it by hand.
This G3GCDCP has a remote cable that extends from the pedal unit and the beater with a clamp holder that attaches to the cajón. At first glance, the strange look of the G3GCDCP may make you hesitant to want to use it, but it’s actually very useful. In addition to playing the cajón alone with this pedal, it can be used to make the perfect simple drum set for an acoustic performance by combining a small hi-hat, a snare drum, or a snare cajón.
If you are a drummer or a percussionist who often plays the cajón, the G3GCDCP is a must-have item for you.
GIBRALTAR / GPDS
The GPDS may be the most unusual rarely seen hardware out of all of the items that I’m introducing here. This is a stand for the djembe.
I have one myself, and this is an excellent solution for avoiding stiff shoulders and difficulty in movement caused by hanging a heavy djembe from the shoulders.

The robust double-braced legs provide excellent stability for placing a heavy large djembe on the stand.
The angle adjusts to two positions. The height-adjustable design is like a cymbal stand and the arm can hold a djembe with a diameter of 32 to 42 cm, making it compatible with djembes of various sizes.

The GPDS also has a flexible setup that allows for a variety of settings.

GIBRALTAR / GCS-L
The GCS-L is a conga stand for standing performances.
There are a number of conga stands available on the market, but I believe that this GCS-L is one of the most sturdy ones. The durable legs with non-slip rubber feet provide excellent stability.
The conga is one of the longest percussion instruments, so if the measurements don’t fit exactly with the stand, the conga may slip or fall off due to the vibrations from hitting, resulting in a lack of stability.
The GCS-L has movable rubber plates that can be adjusted to accommodate various sizes of congas from 11 3/4” to 12 1/2”, allowing for the perfect fit.
I think many conga players probably have several conga stands for different sizes of congas, but with this GCS-L alone, you won’t have to buy anymore stands.
This time I introduced my recommended handy drum hardware from Gibraltar.
Gibraltar’s hardware can be widely used and you can have fun trying out a variety of settings.
Please try out your own drum settings!
