During the last week of March 2023, a high school student-only live event was held at a live house in Akihabara.
The name of the event was OK GIG second.

Sound Studio Otokichi, a music studio in downtown Tokyo, has been hosting this event for the past 15 years. It has provided high school students with an opportunity to perform on a live music stage about twice a year.
After the self-restraint caused by the Corona pandemic, the event restarted at the end of 2022. This year's event, the second to be restarted, will have a whopping 30 bands applying! This year's event will be the largest-ever three-day event!
The event, which has spread almost entirely by word of mouth, has received entries from the light music clubs of local high schools that use Sound Studio Otokichi, as well as high school bands from nearby prefectures that have heard about the event.
The appeal of this event is that there is no audition system, and anyone can experience performing on a stage equipped with sound and lighting equipment, just like professional bands.
Sound House blitzed through the second day of the show, which was from the warm enthusiasm received on the first day. We interviewed Mr. Fujishima, the organizer of the event, who is full of the real voices of high school bands and the humanity of the downtown area!
