In this post, I’d like to share some equipment that received high praise from performers and staff after being used in a real live PA setting.
1. CLASSIC PRO / CP15II 1. CLASSIC PRO / CP18SII

First up are the CLASSIC PRO passive speakers: CP15II and CP18SII.
These two were used together on-site, and here’s some of the feedback we received:
- The sound is well balanced
- The bass was surprisingly full and satisfying
- The sound is clean and natural
I’ve personally used this CP15II + CP18SII setup multiple times, and it’s especially useful in situations where equipment and time are limited. With just a simple parallel connection of the full-range speaker and subwoofer, you’re ready to go. Even better—there was no need for excessive tuning, as the output felt well-balanced right out of the box.
Another benefit of passive speakers is that you can install them away from the power amplifier. In this case, since we were outdoors under strong sunlight, we kept the power amp inside a tent with temperature control, which helped avoid heat-related issues like audio dropouts.
For the distance rod, we used the K&M 21333.
2. CLASSIC PRO / CP12II
Next is the CP12II, which is a slightly smaller version of the CP15II.
We used it as a monitor speaker and received the following comments:
- The sound is clear and easy to hear
- The cabinet is sturdy, so it feels safe to use it as a floor wedge
- Using the CP15II as mains and CP12II as monitors gave a consistent, balanced sound
I had the same impression—because the on-stage and front-of-house sound felt quite similar, it made sound shaping easier not just for the performers, but also for the PA team.
At 25kg, it’s on the heavier side, but that extra weight means it stays put and sits securely on stage, which also helps prevent accidents.
3. CLASSIC PRO / DJBKIT
Finally, we have the foldable DJBKIT DJ booth.
We got great feedback from several DJs.
- It has a decent weight, so it’s stable
- The side mesh panels do a good job blocking the wind
- It’s expandable—you can add corners or inner shelves, which is awesome
This DJ booth is super easy to set up: just unfold it and place the top board. You can adjust the legs for a level surface, and it even has built-in cable holes for a clean appearance.
Wind protection is crucial when playing vinyl outdoors, and the side mesh panels really help prevent needle jumps. Just having them there provides peace of mind.
Conclusion
All the products featured today are from CLASSIC PRO, and a recurring comment we heard was that they offer great cost performance.
Whether it’s the sound quality or usability, I can confidently say from experience that these models have strengths that rival more expensive equipment. I hope this blog helps you in choosing the right gear for your needs!
