I’m Kasai from the Sound House PA team.
This time, I would like to introduce the powered mixers the CLASSIC PRO PM602BT and the PM802BT, which are fully packed with really nice-to-have features.
CLASSIC PRO / PM602BT — 6-channel powered mixer
CLASSIC PRO / PM802BT — 8-channel powered mixer
1. Fader Type
Many compact mixers tend to use knob-type controls, and when you insist on having faders, the channel count tends to go up, making the mixer bigger…this solves that frustration!!

2. 1-Knob Compressor, Low Cut, EQ, AUX, FX, PAN, Phantom Power +48V
For the mono input channels (shown in the image as channels 1-4), we equipped easy-to-use features for sound shaping: compressor, low cut, 3-band EQ (stereo input channels have 2-band EQ), and phantom power for condenser mics. We also included AUX for stage monitors, FX for built-in effects, and PAN for adjusting the sound field — features often omitted in compact mixers, but all properly included here.

3. 16 Built-in Effects
With each channel’s FX knob, the PARAMETER knob and the FX fader, you can make subtle adjustments while keeping operation simple, making this perfect for beginners.

4. USB/MP3 Player & Recorder
When you're running a music event and need to play background music, what device do you use? To make sure you're covered no matter the situation, we included multiple options: USB flash drives, SD cards, Bluetooth, and even PC connection (requires a type-A to type-A USB cable).

In this price range, it's rare to find a product that offers not only playback but also recording functionality.

Whether it’s recording meeting minutes, documenting events, or capturing instrumental practice sessions, having the ability to record is a welcome feature in many situations.

5. Abundant Input and Output Terminals
The rear panel is packed with connections: 2-track RCA inputs and outputs, control room output, AUX output, FX output, stereo return input, balanced XLR output, and Speakon speaker outputs.
With many compact-focused mixers, the main outputs are often unbalanced phone jacks only. However, the PM602BT/802BT features balanced outputs, allowing for noise-resistant signal transmission over long cable runs.

The headphone jack includes a switch that lets you choose which audio source to monitor.
If you want to monitor audio that isn’t affected by the main fader through headphones, here’s a useful tip: Although the 2-track output is primarily intended for recorders, it outputs a signal that is unaffected by the main fader, but is still affected by the channel faders. By leveraging this, you can effectively monitor the desired audio.

6. Built-in Power Amplifier!
Equipped with a stereo power amplifier delivering 75W @ 4Ω × 2 (RMS) and 40W @ 8Ω × 2 (RMS), you can connect passive speakers to create a compact PA system.
You might wonder, “What volume level does this wattage actually produce?” To help answer that, we prepared a comparison video using an iPhone for reference.
In the video, the channel faders and MAIN fader are set at zero, with the level meter fixed around 0 to +6. We swapped only the passive speakers while keeping these settings consistent.
Two speakers were set up in a conference room about 17 × 15 meters, and the iPhone was placed 10 meters away from the speakers to record the sound performance.

I thought just using the iPhone wouldn’t be quite enough, so I asked the video team to also record with an AKG condenser microphone, the C414XLII.
Please give that a listen as well!
While this is admittedly a subjective impression, the volume level is generally fine for events where someone is speaking over background music. It gets a bit challenging with loud rock bands, especially those with drums, but it works well for acoustic-style bands.
If you feel the built-in power amplifier doesn’t provide quite enough volume, you can use the XLR output to upgrade your setup to a system with an external power amp plus passive speakers, or to powered speakers.
What do you think?
The CLASSIC PRO compact powered mixers, the PM602BT and the PM802BT, may be simple, but they truly deliver on covering all your needs and it includes all the necessary functions.
If you’re looking for a mixer that is easy to operate, reasonably priced, multifunctional, and flexible enough to handle a variety of situations, we highly recommend these!
