Hello everyone, how are you holding up in this continued heat? Last month, despite the scorching weather, I went to the ‘dream world’ in Chiba Prefecture (*’▽’) It was hot... I rode a water-themed attraction, and of course, there it was—a water gobo projector!
I couldn’t take any actual photos, but the projector created a shimmering water effect on the ground, making me feel like I was sailing through the ocean. It was a fantastic experience.
You’ll find water gobo projectors not just in theme parks, but also in aquariums and shopping malls. With a simple projection, you can easily create the look of gently swaying water, making them ideal for summer events to create a refreshing atmosphere.
Of course, Sound House sells water gobo projectors, so let me introduce some to you (*’▽’)
First up:
The beautifully designed American DJ H2O DMX IR, capable of covering wide areas. American DJ / H2O DMX IR
[Product Details]
This water gobo projector is equipped with an 80W LED. The back features an LED display, allowing you to adjust the light’s color, intensity, and wave pattern speed by changing the settings. Using a separate remote control, UC IR, or DMX controller, you can even adjust the wave direction and fine-tune the colors. It’s perfect for a variety of scenes, from river, ocean, or lakeside to adding dramatic effects like thunderstorms when combined with a strobe light.

It has an on-off switch on the back that can stop the color wheel (red, green, blue, yellow, white), allowing you to select the best color for the scene. It’s extremely cost-effective and easy to operate—just plug it into a power outlet, and it’s ready to go.

With a 30-degree beam angle, it’s slightly narrower than the H2O DMX IR, but still enough to create a great ambiance. Unlike the DMX IR, it’s not DMX-compatible, but you can use it immediately by simply plugging it in! While it might not be suitable for creating slow, gentle water effects, it’s perfect for parties and events. Plus, the on-off switch allows you to stop the color wheel (red, green, blue, yellow, white) for easy operation.
So, what do you think? This time, I introduced some water gobo projectors perfect for summer events. Lighting effects are deep and fascinating, aren’t they? Stay tuned for more introductions to lighting fixtures (*’▽’)
