What is the Professional Series?

The new Professional Series is a modern version of the Professional Series that was released in 1986.
The original concept of using all maple drum shells from North America have been retained and the new series has been reborn as a model with versatility and operability that can be used in a variety of musical situations.
By adopting the Super Hoop II and classic lugs, the warm sound of the maple shell is further sublimated to support stable performance in any setting, even in small live venues and halls.

Specs

●6Ply (5.4mm) Maple Shell

Uses a 6-ply (5.4mm) maple shell that is thinner than the all-maple (6-ply: 7.5mm) shell.
While emphasizing low volume, it blends very well with band sounds with just the right amount of power and sustain.

●Classic Lugs

The Classic Lug is Pearl’s most standard lug. These lugs are used in many models because of their functionality and style, and have an established reputation.

●Strainer

The traditional design of the strainer is one that runs parallel to the shell.

●Super Hoop II

Pressed hoop made of 2.3mm thick steel. This is Pearl’s standard hoop that transmits shell sound in a well-balanced manner.
