What is MIDTOWN?

Midtown is a full-fledged compact drum suitable for playing in small live venues or street gigs.
It is a full-fledged shell and hardware kit at an affordable price.

New MIDTOWN Features!

1. Hardware Included!

Hi-hat stand, boom cymbal stand, snare stand, and drum pedal are included. All you need is a cymbal stand and you can start playing right away.

2. New Bass Drum Mounted Cymbal Holder!

A new cymbal holder that can be mounted on a bass drum has been added.
The ability to mount a cymbal onto a bass drum further enhances the flexibility of performance.
Cymbals can now be mounted onto bass drums, eliminating the need to carry a single cymbal stand and allowing for easier transportation.

3. New Colors!

There are three colors available. Matte Red, Matte Asphalt Black, and Pure White (white is only available in Japan).
Red and black are matte and have a luxurious design.
The white color for domestic order-order products is #33 Pure White, the same color as that of Rhythm Traveler and other PEARL products.

Opening the Packaging!

As of the launch, the packaging is divided into two parts.
The two boxes are approximately 65 x 50 x 58 cm and 75 x 24 x 30 cm.

Box A contains the shells as shown in the photos below. An instruction manual is also included.

Box B contains hardware as shown in the following picture.

In this case, I actually assembled it!
The bass drum has a small diameter of 16 inches, so a lifter is included. The rim on the hitting side has indentations to prevent interference between the bass drum and the pedals.

Cymbals can be mounted onto the bass drum for easy setup.

Set up a tom, floor tom, and snare. Attach your cymbals to their respective stands and assembly is complete.
The shells are 6-ply poplar for good sound extraction, clear attack, and ample volume.

The assembly was easy due to the simple structure and instructions included in the box.

In addition, the dedicated case PMT-BGN makes it easy to transport.
The tam-tam, floor tom, and snare drum can be stored together in one case.
A shoulder strap and padded hand clips are included to reduce the burden of carrying.
