Cellos have Different Sizes Too!

Just like violins, cellos come in various sizes. Full-size (4/4) cellos are typically used by adults, while children's cellos are often available in 3/4 or 1/2 sizes. Generally, children with a height of around 155 to 135 cm are suited for a 3/4 size cello, while those between 145 and 125 cm are suited for a 1/2 size cello. Additionally, for adults, there is a slightly smaller option called the 7/8 size (between 4/4 and 3/4) that may be more comfortable for those who think the full-size cello is a bit large.
