About the MKE200 Microphone

The MKE 200 is equipped with a supercardioid capsule, which prevents unwanted background noise from entering the microphone and ensures detailed sound quality. Also, compact cameras are generally susceptible to noise, but the MKE 200 minimizes noise effects by adding a windshield and shock mount structure as standard.
This allows for very clear sound even when shooting video on the move.

The included artificial hair windshield can be attached to maximize wind protection performance.

A 3.5mm (1/8in) TRS cable and a TRRS cable are included for use with DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, and mobile devices.

I actually used this microphone with the included kit to record a guitar and a song on my smartphone.

I was surprised at the quality of the recording because it sounded so much more realistic than when I recorded my own voice without the microphone. It sounded so good that it was hard to believe that I could have easily recorded it with a smartphone.
