This year there has been a major shift in the value of synthesizers. As players' abilities improved, we were consulted numerous times regarding moving from Software Synths to Hardware Synthesizers.

This is a review of 2020.
here we go!
Workstations
1st.Roland JUNO-DS61
Inducted into the Hall of Fame. JUNO-DS transcends the entry level model.
2nd. KORG KROSS2 61
It’s in competition with the JUNO-DS. The rhythm machine is excellent.
3rd. YAMAHA MODX7
It's a high-end model, but 3rd in sales, which is inevitable because it has high level capabilities.
Pure Analog Synths
1st.KORG minilogue xd
Software synthesizers can't replace this; this is too attractive.
2nd. KORG MS-20 mini
No explanation needed, a tiny model of the legendary analog synthesizer. Cool.
3rd. BEHRINGER CRAVE
An inexpensive real analog synthesizer. Good design.
Digital Synths
1st.YAMAHA reface DX
The original FM fromYamaha. It’s first by far in digital synth sales.
2nd. Arturia MicroFreak
Good Design, and it has RARE synthesis algorithms.
3rd. KORG wavestate
The apex of vector synthesis. You can switch the waveform like an arpeggiator.
Virtural Analog Synths
1st.KORG microKORG XL+
An enhanced model of the microKORG. Usability is different from the original model.
2nd. KORG microKORG
A long-selling model that will soon reach its 20th anniversary. The living legend.
3rd. Roland JUPITER-Xm
Flagship model, reasonably priced, portable, and fascinating. Great.
