Time flies! This is the 4th time I’ve helped with the “Good To Be Home” event.
I feel so emotional.
A week is already about to pass since the event.
December 22nd... it was a wonderful day.
“A space and time to relax just like at your own home.”
I'd never seen an event name that embodied so much.
Loved by the band members, loved by the staff, and above all, loved by so many people.
I had never expected words like these to come out of the mouth of a 37-year-old man...
A live show filled with lots of love; it was the best!!
I was a little tearful from the moment the intro video was played (I was about to cry during the rehearsal, too).
This time, we participated by providing the equipment for the event.
The main equipment they used was provided by the hall, so we provided stage equipment, such as floor monitors, a bass amp, microphones, and stands...
Floor monitor: QSC / CP12
Bass amp: Quilter / Bass Block 800 & BASSLINER 1x12 (used as a guitar amp)
Microphone: RODE / NT55、 beyerdynamic / TG-V70D、 M88TG、 M69TG、 TG D71c、 MXL CR21、 AUDIX D3、D4
Wireless microphone: CLASSIC PRO / CWS801M

This was my first experience preparing for a show in a hall.
Lots of CANARE multi boxes and multi cables, huge NEXO line array speakers and subwoofers, in no time at all, the stage was up without a sound...

Fortunately, we had an experienced and reliable young colleague (I completely relied on him...) and a super PA girl, Fuku-chan (later changed to Fukuda-sama), so preparation was carried out per instructions.

Although we had never worked at this venue, and we struggled with the YAMAHA QL5 PA console that we were using for the first time, but everyone worked swiftly giving the instructions to each other, and did their best within the limited time♬ I can't thank them enough.
Of course, the rehearsal wasn't that easy. But we got it done solving the problems one by one as they came up!!
When the sound came out of the speakers, I couldn't help screaming, “how wonderful we have sound!”
There’s not much I can say about the performance other than they're the best members.
I shot some video, so check them out for more details.
Please forgive the shakey hands -- I shot these using high zoom from the PA desk.
The guitarist Ishimoto-san not only plays guitar but also manipulates a lot of different sounds, and at such a high level. The chorus, and the first MC lol. I was like, “Oh, they barely finished introducing the members before Ishimoto-san was on!!”

QSC Powered Speaker CP12 Product Review
“First of all, the impression of using the QSC/CP12 as monitors. One of the characteristics of QSC is that there is no biased peak, etc., so the perfect sound settings can be done in no time. I can even say there's no need to set anything, or perhaps just a little bit of low-cut will be fine in most cases. And if it's for monitoring, it’s powerful enough and the sound pressure is probably enough even for big venues, so you can easily use it as a monitor. As a result, anti-feedback is also taken care of. Considering the price, the compact size, and weight, not only PA crews but also players (especially keyboardists) find it useful as a monitor for mini live shows without relying on the PA system. It might be good as an acoustic guitar amp as well. Like guitarists around LA, it would be cool to use it as an acoustic guitar amp, creating the sound you like, and miking it.”
Sarah Furukawa on guitar and background vocals was awesome as always with her cute voice. She played her original song “again”, and the combination with Aimi-san's voice was perfect and they sounded comfortable together. They said their voices go well together although they have totally different types of voices♬

The guitarist, Ryo, was the same as always... like the air. Perfectly natural. Ryo's guitar is essential to Aimi-san's songs!!

Marie-san on the keyboard. I've thought she was a great keyboardist ever since the I first time I heard her play. She did a great job this time, too♬ The piano seemed to widen the world of Aimi-san's songs a lot. I was impressed to see her quickly making beautiful bouquets with fresh flowers at the end.

The percussionist, Yushi-san played percussion to add bright and gentle sounds unique to percussion that matched Aimi-san's songs, and no doubt it boosted the feelings of“Good To Be Home”!!

QSC Powered Speaker CP12 Product Review
“I sat on the cajon and used it as a floor monitor for acoustic performances. The sound resolution was great, and I could hear each instrument so clearly. Although the sound was clear, it didn't feel too persistent. The angle of the speaker to ears was just right, and it was easy to find the ideal monitoring position.”
And all of them are so nice that it almost scares me. They're just so kind. It was my 4th GTBH, but the warmth was the same from the first time. Top musicians are not only the top during performances, but also the top as people. Despite my sudden request for Ishimoto-san and Yushi-san to review the equipment, they said, “No problem!” Thank you so much♪
Aimi-san.
Aimi-san's voice and the songs she makes are always the best♬
Not only that, but her personality and her sincere hard-working attitude for live performance reached and moved so many people's hearts.
An attractive human being. A person for whom I feel compelled to do something. During the show, when I looked around the entire venue and saw the faces of the people who came to see it, they were all so into the songs, and it felt like each one of them was thinking about Aimi-san. Their “warm” applause literally meant this.

It was an amazing show this time, too.
I was happy to be in a wonderful space filled with the sense of unity.
What kind of equipment should I prepare for them next time?
