How to install the demo version of the Lexicon Reverb Plug-in iLok registration

Have you heard of the audio equipment manufacturer, Lexicon?
The company was founded in 1971 in the States, and has been producing excellent reverb processors like their reverb sound masterpiece, the 480L, attracting engineers ever since. Even today, their products are used in studios as the standard processor for various major releases.

And now, Lexicon has released reverb plug-ins based on the know-how and techniques they have accumulated over the years developing hardware. In addition, they have free demo versions of these plug-ins that you can try for 14 days! *iLok2 or iLok3 are required to use the demo versions.

AVID / iLok 3 Software Authorization Key

This time, I’m going to explain how to install the demo versions, which will allow you to try out their attractive reverb sounds.

First of all, preparing iLok.
If you already use iLok, please proceed to ⑦.

① Please click the URL below to access iLok page. Then, click the red-framed 1 “Create Free Account.”

② Fill in the required information to create the iLok account.
Then, click “Create Account.”

■NOTE
・Your User ID cannot be changed once it has been set, so consider it carefully.
・Your password must contain 8-32 characters with lower and uppercase letters, and numbers.
・Don’t forget to read “Terms and Conditions” and check the box.

③ Click “Continue” on the Free Account Setup screen.

④ A confirmation link will be sent to the email address you registered for the account.
Click the link in the email.

You have successfully created your account if you can view the iLok page below.

⑤ Please go back to the iLok page mentioned in ①, download and install iLok LICENSE MANAGER choosing Windows or Mac in the red frame 2.

⑥ Insert your iLok into a USB slot on your Windows or Mac computer.
Start iLok LICENSE MANAGER, and click “Sign In” in the upper left.
Enter the User ID and password for iLok account you created.

⑦ Click the icon “Redeem an activation code” in the upper right.

If you can view the screen to enter the activation code, you’re almost there!

⑧ Choose a Lexicon Plug-in page from the list in the link below.
Move to the Lexicon English page by clicking the “Manufacturer’s Product Page” button framed in red in the second picture.

⑨ Click on “Demo Download” on the right side of the manufacturer’s product page.
On the next screen, you will find the activation code of for the demo in the red frame.
Enter the code on iLok LICENSE MANAGER.

⑩ Select the iLok account to which you would like to add the demo version license, and click “Redeem.”

If you can see the demo version license as shown in the red frame below, you’ve succeeded.
Drag and drop the demo version license to add to the iLok you would like to use.
Now the preparations are all done!

⑪ Download the installer for Windows or Mac from “Software” below “Downloads” on the bottom of the manufacturer’s product page mentioned in ⑨.

That’s all for the activation and basic installation procedure of the demo version!
*You may need to set the plug-in folder depending on the DAW software being used. Please note in advance that there is no support available for the demo versions.
