BEHRINGER / PRO-1

The PRO-1 is an analog synthesizer. It can use three types of oscillators simultaneously. It faithfully reproduces the original circuit using the 3340 and 3320. The 16-voice polychain allows you to combine multiple synthesizers to achieve a maximum of 16 simultaneous voices.

Authentic 3340 Oscillator.

The PRO-1's 3340 voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) offers up to three simultaneous waveforms (Oscillator A: sawtooth and pulse; Oscillator B: sawtooth, triangle, and pulse) with a selectable four-octave range. The VCO can be modulated with an envelope or LFO. A mixer section that balances the levels of the built-in VCO and noise generator further enhances performance. This flexibility gives you the tools to maximize your creativity.

Versatile VCF
Finally, tweak the cutoff frequency, resonance, envelope, keyboard amount, and ADSR (attack, decay, sustain, release) controls to craft the perfect sound.

16-note polychain support
While the PRO-1 is a monophonic instrument (one note at a time), the 16-note polychain function allows you to combine multiple synthesizers for up to 16 voices of polyphony.

Eurorack compatible
The PRO-1 is designed to withstand the rigors of touring and studio use and easily transports to a standard Eurorack case.

The PRO-1's default signal routing lets you create great sounds right out of the box, without lifting a single patch cable. The semi-modular architecture also makes it easy to capture sounds inspired by the synthesizer tracks that defined rock and roll history, including progressive rock, wave, EDM, and synth-pop music from the 1980s and '90s!

Envelopes
The PRO-1's LFO offers sweepable sawtooth, triangle, and pulse waveforms ranging from 0.1 Hz to 30 Hz, and two envelope generators modulate the VCF and VCA.

Onboard Sequencer & Arpeggiator
The PRO-1's dual 64-note sequencers can record and play two unique patterns. Play in keyboard mode, where you create and save patterns, or in step mode, where you can interactively play patterns as you compose them. The onboard arpeggiator switch has three positions: up, down, and off. Both the sequencer and arpeggiator are fun, captivating, and addictive.

LFO, Matrix, and More...
With a dedicated, all-analog LFO, the PRO-1 lets you choose from triangle, pulse, and square waveforms, all with a single frequency control for incredibly easy control. Additionally, the onboard modulation matrix lets you define how and how the filter envelope, Oscillator B, and LFO modulation are applied to your signal. You can also modulate the pulse wave with the LFO, envelope, or manually, resulting in sounds ranging from mild to wild!
