Tune Your Beats
The SY-1 offers six oscillator modes, each with a different character and tone. You can choose from Single Oscillator, FM, Dual Oscillator Mix, Dynamic Oscillator Mix, FM/Noise Mix, and Pure Noise. Each mode can be shaped by adjusting the tune, decay, and filter cutoff controls. This allows you to create a wide range of percussive sounds and effects, from deep kicks and snappy snares to metallic clangs and sci-fi zaps. The SY-1 can also be triggered using a drum pad, a drum machine such as the Behringer RD-8, or other external triggers.

Movement and dynamics are crucial to creating exciting rhythms. That's why SY-1 includes a pitch sweep function that lets you use the speed, range, and up/down controls to create dramatic pitch plunges and rises, as well as special effects and transitions. In addition, SY-1 features square wave and triangle wave LFOs that can be used to modulate pitch and filter for unique vibrato effects.
