Pure analog signal path
Great care was taken in engineering the K-2 MK II, including VCO, VCF, and VCA designs that are faithful to the originals, and pure analog circuitry with matched transistors and JFETs. This attention to detail gives the K-2 MK II ultra-flexible sound-shaping capabilities that cover everything from ultra-thick bass and lead tones to phenomenal effects.

Versatile VCF
The heart of the K-2 MK II's sound lies in its versatile 6 dB High/12 dB Low filter. The high-pass filter sets the level of the signal below the cutoff frequency, effectively reducing the level of the fundamental and lower harmonics. The low-pass filter controls the level of the signal above the cutoff and reduces higher-order overtone components, while the K-2 MK II's VCF Peak control emphasizes the signal at the crossover frequency.

Vintage Oscillators
The authentic VCOs (Voltage Controlled Oscillators) on the K-2 MK II offer four different oscillator shapes with variable pulse width and ring modulation for the ultimate in sound creation The waveforms of VCO 1 are, The VCO 2 waveform can be selected from Reverse Sawtooth, Square, Narrow Pulse, or Ring, and both oscillators can operate The VCO mixer allows you to adjust the levels of VCO 1 and VCO 2 for the overall mix and create a wide range of great effects.

Envelope
Envelope The K-2 MK II's low-frequency oscillator (LFO), modulation generator, has selectable waveforms (reverse sawtooth, triangle, and sawtooth) and two envelope generators to help you create great sounds! Envelope generator 1 has delay, attack, and release time controls, while generator 2 modulates the cutoff frequency and amplitude modulation of the voltage control amplifier (VCA). The generator's dials have hold, decay, attack, sustain, and release for unparalleled envelope shaping control.

16-note polychain support
Although the K-2 MK II is a monophonic instrument (one note at a time), its 16-note polychain capability allows you to combine multiple synthesizers for up to 16 voices of polyphony.

Eurorack Support
Designed to withstand the rigors of touring and studio use, the K-2 MK II can be easily installed in a standard Eurorack case.

Control and Connectivity
