Versatile VCF
The heart of the K-2 MK II's sound lies in its versatile 6 dB High/12 dB Low filter. The high-pass filter sets the level of the signal below the cutoff frequency, effectively reducing the level of the fundamental and lower harmonics. The low-pass filter controls the level of the signal above the cutoff and reduces higher-order overtone components, while the K-2 MK II's VCF Peak control emphasizes the signal at the crossover frequency.

Envelope generator 1 has delay, attack, and release time controls, while generator 2 modulates the cutoff frequency and amplitude modulation of the voltage control amplifier (VCA). The generator's dials have hold, decay, attack, sustain, and release for unparalleled envelope shaping control.
16-note polychain support
Although the K-2 MK II is a monophonic instrument (one note at a time), its 16-note polychain capability allows you to combine multiple synthesizers for up to 16 voices of polyphony.
Eurorack Support
