Working at Sound House, I always see a wide variety of products. This naturally leads to more and more products that I want and there are a lot of effects pedals that I want to get someday. So this time, I would like to introduce three effects pedals that I am currently looking at! Through writing this article, I hope this article will be helpful for you when you go to buy an effects pedal.
TC ELECTRONIC / Combo Deluxe 65' Preamp
First, I am interested in TC Electronics’ guitar preamps!
TC is known for its spatial systems and loopers, but the company also produces guitar preamps, including a reproduction of a 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb that uses TC Electronics’ proprietary TC AMPWORX modeling technology to create a realistic tone. The sound is very realistic, and the sound is very good. The sound is very rich and is of high quality, and the relatively simple design with a 3-band EQ and reverb knob in addition to GAIN and LEVEL is very easy for me as someone who likes to create sounds with sensitivity. I usually use a small transistor amp at home to play my guitar, so I would like to get this unit to play around with the tone of a powerful tube amp easily!
ELECTRO-HARMONIX / KEY9
Next is the Electro-Harmonix effect pedal. This one can convert a guitar sound into an electric piano sound! I want it so bad. As you can see in the video, it has a really gentle electric piano sound. It seems to have a very interesting playing touch where you feel like you are playing a guitar, but the sound that is being played is an electric piano. I cannot play the piano, so I would love to use this effect pedal to experience the feeling of playing the piano.
In addition, it has a whopping 9 presets, each of which allows you to adjust the mix between the original sound and the effect, and to set parameters of the tremolo depth set for each effect.
It seems as if I can get a feel of how to play a new instrument with just one of these. I definitely want to get one of these someday.
Chase Bliss Audio / Lossy
Here is the last one I would like to introduce!
First of all, this pink and pop design completely grabbed my attention. I feel that the Lossy is valuable enough as a piece of interior design. Of course, as an effect pedal, you are most likely more concerned about its sound, but this pedal is truly one-of-a-kind. It is difficult to describe with just words, but it can create a nostalgic atmosphere or a nostalgic tone. I have watched various videos and listened to this sound, but I think that the true appeal of this device cannot be grasped until you actually play with it.
I talked about 3 different effects pedals, but what did you think? I decided to purchase one of these 3 pedals for my next pedal purchase. I hope you will also visit Sound House to find your favorite effects pedal!
