2023 is a new year and this is the year to get started! Let's do it! I am sure there are many of you out there who are thinking this now.
For those of you in the new year spirit,
Maybe you should take a look at your power supply environment.
Sound House has a wide range of cosmetic products such as UPSs and power distributors!
In this issue, I have compiled the contents I have introduced so far.
Why don't you review your power supply environment, prepare backups and preparations in case of emergencies, and get off to a good start?
■For those who are considering UPS
What is UPS?
UPS is a device that operates to prevent a computer from suddenly shutting down in the event of a power outage during a so-called disaster.
It uses electricity charged in the built-in battery to keep the power supply running until the computer's data is backed up.
Note that the device will not operate properly if the power consumption exceeds the device specifications.
Please refer to the detailed information on how to choose a UPS in the following blog post.

■For those who are considering Power Strips and Power Distributors
I will first introduce CLASSICPRO's power module group.
⇒ Special Feature on Power Distributors and Power Strips
The product group is as follows.

The PDS series is a so-called power strip.
Compared to ordinary power strips, the PDS series is much more robust and has been designed with noise suppression in mind.
With this one, you can simply upgrade your power supply environment.
This is a more detailed product introduction article of the PDS series.

■For those who are considering Step-up Transformers
Sometimes I hear requests from people who want to use a product with US power specifications (directly imported) in a proper power supply environment.
Some products with U.S. specifications use a higher power supply voltage (input voltage) than the 100 VAC power supply in Japan with specs such as 120 VAC, 117 VAC, 115 VAC, etc. In most cases, the input voltage may be displayed near the inlet of the power cable.
Most equipment has an input voltage indication near the inlet where the power cable is plugged in. 100 VAC can be used in some cases, but since it may cause noise or make it difficult to obtain the original performance, a step-up transformer may be necessary.
*Please refrain from using a step-up power supply to input power into domestic products or those with AC100V input specifications. It may cause malfunctions.
Please refer to the following for how to select a step-up transformer.

I look forward to working with all of you again in 2023!
