  Reed Geek is a manufacturer specializing in reed adjustment tools and is based in Nevada, USA. Its founder, Mauro Di Gioia, has spent many years researching reed structure, acoustics, and adjustment methods while performing as a woodwind player himself. He has also adjusted reeds for renowned musicians, including legendary saxophonist David Sanborn.
  
  Drawing on this research and experience, the company develops tools designed to bring out the inherent potential of each reed and provide a consistent playing feel and response, guided by the philosophy that "players should not be at the mercy of the condition of their reeds."

  The Otoya Grand Prix 2026 with TuneCore Japan, a music contest presented by Sound House and TuneCore Japan, is back this year!
  
  This year's competition is open exclusively to bands, and all entries must be songs distributed through TuneCore Japan. The Grand Prize winner will receive 500,000 S-Points (equivalent to ¥500,000) along with other exciting prizes.   Takeshi Nishiyama
  
  Born on January 7, 1962, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
  
  Inspired by The Ventures and Takeshi Terauchi, he began playing guitar and won prizes in numerous contests. He launched his professional career in 1983 as a backing guitarist for Kuniko Fukushima. After performing as a backing musician for artists such as Koji Kikkawa and Masahiro Kuwana, he joined the rock band HOUND DOG in 1984. He performed with the band as a guitarist for 22 years, helping shape the sound that came to define the Japanese rock scene. He took part in the first Tokyo Dome concert ever held by a Japanese artist and performed at Nippon Budokan for 15 consecutive days.
  
  In 1997, he began pursuing his solo career in earnest, releasing the albums CREATURE, HU-YIN, and NEXT STAGE. He has also participated in live performances and recording sessions with numerous artists, including Sound Horizon, Linked Horizon, Takashi Utsunomiya, and Spin-off Yonin Bayashi. His exceptional technique and expressive range have earned him widespread acclaim across genres.
  
  In addition to his work as a guitarist, he is dedicated to nurturing the next generation through music schools and private lessons. He has also authored instructional books such as The Remedial Curriculum for Guitarists Who "Can't Actually Play", Prescriptions for Guitar Techniques You Can Use on Stage, and The Complete Guide to Guitar Picking Practice Routines, all of which have garnered support from many guitarists.
  
  He continues to share the appeal of the guitar through live performances, recordings, sessions, and his YouTube channel, "Takeshi Nishiyama Official Channel."

  Marika Ono – Profile
  Marika Ono was born in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and is a clarinetist and saxophonist.
  She began studying piano at the age of seven and clarinet at the age of twelve. She graduated from Nagoya College of Music, where she majored in clarinet.
  While still a student, she launched her performing career in Tokyo and Nagoya, and held her graduation recital at The Concert Hall of Nagoya Electric Cultural Hall.
  Her musical activities span a wide range of genres, from classical music to pop and jazz, including collaborative concerts with Mr. Koizumi, a violinist of the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra.
  In 2023, she released her first album, "Kagami to Watashi -face to face-", and continues to actively compose and release original music. In 2025, she embarked on a five-city concert tour as part of her solo career.
  She is also active as the saxophonist of the idol orchestra group I-OK.
  Since the group's debut in 2021, she has performed on nationwide tours and at solo concerts at Toyosu PIT. In 2024, she appeared in the group's solo concert at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall (Yaon).
  I-OK's third album, "Watashitachi, Honki Desu!!," released on March 22, 2026, reached No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking dated March 21.
  The group's second solo concert at Toyosu PIT attracted a record audience of 1,061 attendees, the largest in I-K's history. Through numerous performances on large-scale stages, Marika continues to bring audiences throughout Japan a unique entertainment experience that combines live instrumental performance, singing, and dance.
