  Universal Audio has released Volt Gen 2, the second generation of its popular Volt audio interface series. This update supports high-resolution audio conversion at up to 32-bit/192 kHz, delivering superior sound quality and enhanced usability.
  
  Users can choose from three preamp voicing modes: Warmth, Focus, and Shine. Additionally, the series now includes loopback functionality, making it ideal for podcasting and live streaming. Higher-end models feature a full-color smart display and offer useful tools that streamline the recording process, such as Auto Gain and Clip Protection.
  
  Furthermore, the new Volt Max series features six Max compressor modes modeled after Universal Audio's iconic 1176 and LA-2A units. These modes allow users to add punch and presence to vocals and instruments during recording, resulting in a more polished sound.
