Silktone has released the "Green Hell," offering a distinctive evolution of the classic green overdrive sound!

Built around a quintessential mid-focused overdrive circuit, the pedal features an innovative design with JFET stages positioned both before and after the drive section. At the input, an Expander-derived JFET circuit adds rich harmonics and body, while the output stage produces saturation reminiscent of a tube amp pushed hard. While retaining the signature midrange focus and smooth compression characteristic of classic green ODs, the pedal delivers an expanded gain range and complex harmonic overtones.

The pedal also features a three-way Voice switch. Players can select from three distinct modes: "CLASSIC" (a response close to that of a traditional green OD), "MID MONSTER" (an aggressive, mid-forward punch), and "FAT" (boosted low end and higher gain). It effortlessly covers everything from classic overdrive tones to thick, ferocious drive tones.

Guitarists looking to bring greater depth, thickness, and expressiveness to that familiar green OD sound should definitely check out the Green Hell!
