DRAWMER has announced two new 500 Series compressors: the OC-1 and FC-1.
The OC-1 is DRAWMER's first-ever optical (opto) compressor, delivering smooth, natural compression with a warm, musical character. It is ideal for vocals, acoustic instruments, and a wide variety of other sources.
The FC-1, on the other hand, features a FET compression design based on the technology developed for DRAWMER's acclaimed 1970s Series. Its ultra-fast attack and release characteristics provide punchy, dynamic compression, making it an excellent choice for drums, bass, and other transient-rich sources.
Both models include an impressive range of professional features, including BIG and AIR modes, a Wet/Dry MIX control for parallel compression, the harmonic-enhancing CRUSH function, PGM mode, and hard-wire bypass. High-precision 21-position stepped controls ensure excellent repeatability of settings.
Handcrafted in the UK, these versatile 500 Series compressors are designed to perform equally well in compact hybrid studios and professional recording environments.
