Soundhouse-sponsored recording contest for junior and senior high school students!

We will lend you a set of recording equipment. Please submit your self-recorded work using this equipment. After the management judges the entries, prizes will be announced each half term. Each school that submits a winning entry will receive the equipment!

Any musical genre or composition is welcome! We are looking forward to seeing your passionate challenge to create memories with your club activities and friends! Who will win first prize and become a young musician in the future?

Works recorded using equipment loaned by the sound house.

Entry period: All year round
Announcement of results: September (for entries received between March and August), March (for entries received between September and February of the following year).

= Terms and conditions =
- Applicants must be students of junior high school, high school or college of technology in Japan.
- The use of equipment loaned by Soundhouse is required.
- Advisors or students must submit entries.
- An advisor or a student must make the application.
- Consent must be obtained from a school advisor or official. (You will be asked to present your ID)
- Rental equipment can be received at school.
- You are required to provide at least three photos of the recording scene when returning the equipment.
- Entrants must be able to submit their work when the equipment is returned.
- The applicant must be willing to cooperate with Soundhouse and its sponsors in producing the content, disseminating it on social networking services, conducting interviews, and covering the event.
- There are no restrictions on genre or instrumentation. ・
- Original songs and cover songs are both welcome.
※The lending is on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of equipments borrowed exceeds the limit, you may have to wait until they are returned.
