The first Summer Festival “Onagawa Bon Dance” was held on August 18 at the plaza in front of JR Onagawa Station.
During the day, a variety of events were held, including a reuse market, watermelon splitting, and a karaoke contest, making it hard to believe that this was the first time the event had been held. In the evening, “NEO Bon Odori” was held, with participants dancing to the latest popular songs as well as traditional favorites, and the venue was filled with smiles and enthusiasm. Sound House staff also joined the dancing circle and had a great time learning the choreography from the locals.
