Keith Levin, the first guitarist and founding member of Public Image Limited (P.I.L.), a band led by John Lydon, formerly of the Sex Pistols, passed away on November 11. He was 65 years old. After a brief stint with The Clash before their debut, he formed P.I.L. with John Lydon and others. The innovative and aggressive guitar sounds of their first albums, "Public Image" and "Metal Box," released during their tenure, significantly influenced later indie/alternative rock.

After 2000, he continued to show his one-of-a-kind guitar performance in his solo works and the solo album "Psychic Life" by Jah Wobble, the first PI.L bassist. His collaboration project with Wobble, "Metal Box In Dub," was performed on stage at the Fuji Rock Festival in 2012. We sincerely pray for the repose of his soul to play P.I.L. 's debut song, featuring the signature guitar riff by Keith Levin, who has influenced many artists.
