The Ampster, a single-tube-driven amplifier that can complement and replace any amp, is released by Carl Martin! This analog unit has the same controls as an amplifier, including a mute switch, speaker selection switch, and voicing switch. The cabinet switches are selectable between 2x12 open-back cabs and 4x12 closed-back cabs, each capturing the characteristics of the cabinet. Connecting an external footswitch or switcher to the remote terminal on the rear panel makes it possible to build a total system by incorporating it into a pedal board.
