Japanese athletes, both men and women, have been ranked at the top of the world in recent years, winning big international events such as last year's World Championships and the Red Bull BC One, and there are high expectations for them to win gold medals.
On Monday, December 14 at 13:00 (Japan time), a press conference by the board members of the Japan Dance Sports Federation (JDSF) will be broadcast on the Federation's YouTube channel, followed by a demonstration performance by the Japanese team, led by the world champion Shigekix and Ami.

■What is break dancing?
Although popularly known as "break dancing," it was originally called "breaking", and it is a dance that incorporates acrobatic movements such as spinning and bouncing to music using the entire body.
"BREAK DANCE" is part of the "Hip-Hop" culture, which consists of the "4 ELEMENTs". The Hip-Hop dancers are called "BBOY, BGIRL", originally called "BBOYING" or "BREAKING", or "BREAKIN'" for short.
The term "4 ELEMENTs" refers to DJs, BBOYs, MCs, and GRAFFITI.
