Last time, I wrote an article describing what exactly a technical staff member does and I go into detail about various behind-the-scenes jobs.

This time, I am planning to continue with this topic…
But recently, I went out for a casual walk on one of my days off and I happened to hear some pleasant sounds. So today, I would like to share that little experience with you.
To be honest, I’m the type who likes to wander around whenever I have free time.
On that day too, I was walking near a park by a train station that’s a bit a ways from home when I felt that something fun was going to happen…

As I was naturally drawn by the sound, I wandered toward where it was coming from…
And there, I found a group of people gleefully jamming together!

The tones of guitars and saxophones echoed gently through the sun-dappled trees, and blending into the breeze―
I couldn’t help but stop in my tracks and just listen.
As someone who usually spends their days staring at a computer screen, hearing live music like this in a natural setting truly brought me a deep sense of peace. It was one of those moments that really makes you pause and appreciate the simple things in life.
And then―
“Hm? Wait a second…is that…?”
As I looked closer at the side of the stage, I spotted a familiar silhouette.
And there it was―
the unmistakable silhouette of the CLASSIC PRO / CBR10!
CLASSIC PRO / CSP10 PA Speaker
This park was about 30 square meters, and yet the sound carried clearly from corner to corner.
I couldn’t help but be impressed―—“Wow, the CSP10 really delivers!”
Of course, as someone who’s in the field, my curiosity immediately turned to the next thought:
What kind of mixer are they using?
The group had around 5 or 6 members. It was a pretty solid setup. And, from the looks of it, they were using several mics and line inputs…

Hmm…the image is a bit blurry and low-res.
But still—this color scheme, this layout… there’s only one that it could be!
This mixer not only offers up to 20 input channels, which are perfect for a jam session, but its real charm lies in the built-in SPX effects. With instant access to reverb and delay, it’s incredibly convenient.
When setting up a small PA outdoors, this mixer is truly a reliable all-rounder.
As for the power amp, it looks like a BEHRINGER NU series. These were popular for being ultra-lightweight, Class D, and energy-efficient. The current models are part of the NX series, so be sure to check those out too!
As I admired watching all that gear perform, I let myself sway along to the music and the evening light. Then the sun quickly began to set.
I stayed to enjoy the session until the very end, then slowly made my way home.
If you haven’t tried it, I really recommend going on a casual stroll.
You might just stumble upon unexpected sounds, people, and moments that refresh your spirit in the best way.
