As the season changes from spring to early summer, more and more parties and events are going to take place outdoors.
The other day, I stopped by a park where a marché was being held. When I dropped by the park, I saw soap bubbles flying around. Wouldn’t it be nice to see countless bubbles floating around in the summer air like in a painting?
It was here that I realized that the machine generating the bubbles was a bubble machine by the brand Stage Evolution.
The machine generating the soap bubbles is a STAGE EVOLUTION bubble machine.
STAGE EVOLUTION / Bubble Master Plus Bubble Machine Wireless
The machine was called the Bubble Master Plus.
Just taking it out and using it would make anyone happy. It can be used without a power connection, so it is the best choice for a small outdoor production.
Here, I would like to introduce a few techniques and points to note when using the bubble machine.
01 Reading the wind direction and the condition of the air
Bubble machines use fan wind to blow soap bubbles. When used outdoors, the wind may blow, but if the wind blows against the bubble machine's vent, the bubbles won’t fly. Note that this is true even if you are using the machine indoors, as air conditioning or climate control will similarly prevent soap bubbles from forming.
On the other hand, a tailwind will cause more soap bubbles to form, so it is best to set up a bubble machine by reading the direction of the wind if you want to send many soap bubbles into the air. Another effective technique is to use a circulator or a fan in combination with the bubble machine.
02 Recharge the battery regularly.
The aforementioned Bubble Master Plus has a built-in battery and can be used without plugging it into an outlet. When the batteries run out, they need to be recharged, but if they are not recharged and stored for several months before being used, they may not have a full charge. This is due to over-discharge, and if this condition continues, the battery will drop below the minimum required voltage, which is called deep discharge. Once deeply discharged, the batteries cannot be recharged using the included power adapter. This can also lead to battery deterioration and the battery may have to be replaced. To prevent this from happening, it is recommended that the batteries be recharged before storage when not in use for a long period of time.
03 Always ground the machine.
Bubble machines can spill liquid when pouring it, and the soap bubbles that are generated can break off inside the bubble machine, getting the interior wet. If this happens, the risk of short circuiting increases, so be sure to ground the machine if it requires a 100 V AC power supply. Properly attaching a ground wire will channel the leaked electricity to the ground in the event of a short, thus reducing the risk of electric shock from human contact.
These are just a few techniques and precautions to take when using a bubble machine.
Please be sure to take care of the grounding in particular to avoid any possible accidents. If you use a bubble machine, please be careful to turn off the power and clean the machine when it gets wet, and use the machine in a safe manner.
