For Kids! 5 Recommended PLAYTECH Products

Sound House handles many manufacturers, but this time I will focus on products from our own brand PLAYTECH that are suitable for children to use in kindergartens and schools!

① PLAYTECH / PHA-100

Harmonicas used to be a part of music classes in schools! Nowadays, keyboard harmonicas are used, so most people have never seen a harmonica before.
PLAYTECH’s PHA-100 is a 10-hole harmonica that is easy to use even for beginners♪ The PHA-100 Series has a lineup of harmonicas for a total of 7 keys. I recommend starting with a harmonica that’s in the key of C! A case and cloth are included to keep the instrument clean.

This set of bells can be played as handbells or tabletop bells. Each note is color-coded, so even young children who cannot read notes can easily and joyfully play the handbells with the colored notes. This set is perfect for handbell performances at recitals or during the winter holiday season. This is a recommended product that can grow with your child, giving your child the freedom to play with this set in a multitude of ways.

③ PLAYTECH / First Time Percussion Set

This set includes castanets, triangle, wood block, concert wood block, tambourine, and maracas that make a total of six types of percussion instruments! All of the instruments produce sounds simply by tapping them, which are perfect for young children. ④ PLAYTECH / PTP100 Toy Piano

This toy piano features a red design that cannot help but catch the eye! The perfect size for small children allows them to play while sitting down. It has a lovely tone that reminds you of a music box♪ The 18-key model can play children’s songs such as “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and “Kaeru no Uta (Frog’s Song)”. I recommend this product as a good first step to spark your children’s interest in the piano.

A larger 25-key type is also available, and since the PTP200 comes with a chair, I also recommend this product for children who are able to sit on a chair!

⑤ PLAYTECH / PXL200 Desktop Xylophone

This mini-xylophone is made to be played on a desk! You can enjoy playing not only in the key of C major (Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do), but also in the scale of G major (So La Ti Do Re Mi Fa[#] So) and F major (Fa So La Ti[♭] Do Re Mi Fa) by using the three attached soundboards♪ The wood used is padouk. It produces a rounded tone that warms your heart just listening to it.
One stick can be stored by inserting it into the hole on the left side of the xylophone, so there is no need to worry about losing it!
