Every year, time seems to fly by faster and faster, and before we know it, December is here!
Speaking of December, there’s the biggest event for children—Christmas♪
When you see the kids, you can’t help but want to ask, “What present are you asking Santa this year?” (^-^)
This time, I’ll introduce some products that would be the perfect Christmas presents for your children!
LAYTECH / PHB500 Bell
A bell with a tree-like shape and colorful design that is simply adorable! You can place it on a desk and strike the bell with a stick to make a sound♪ Most handbells you see are either the hand type, where you hold the grip and shake to play, or the desktop type, where you place it on a table and press the top with your hand to make a sound. Since the PHB500 is a little different from other handbells, they make for a great gift for children♪ Of course, it’s fun to play, but it could also be a cute decoration in your child’s room!
Toyroyal / Tap Baby Drum
A baby drum that looks so fun to play!☆ With various buttons, it’s sure to put a smile on your baby’s face! By pressing the small buttons, you can switch between four modes: drum sound effects, fun sounds, drum set, and animal sounds. In addition, you can also play 10 melodies, so you and your child can tap the pads along with your favorite tunes, doubling the fun☆ It’s suitable for very young children as well♪
PLAYTECH / PGS100 Kids Glockenspiel
A small-sized glockenspiel that’s easy for children to play! Not only is it cute, but its sound is charming as well♪ The sticks, which might easily get lost, can be inserted into the top of the main body for safekeeping. You can play eight notes—do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do—so children can perform nursery rhymes like “Frog Song” or “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” Even if they can’t read music yet, using the color coding makes it simple! For kids who still find playing one note at a time difficult, just tapping the instrument freely with the sticks is fun enough to start with.
ZENON / BCN-KO (Castanet / Koala)
When you think of a classic castanet, you probably imagine a red and blue design, right? This one, however, is shaped like a koala’s face, making it super cute♪ I’ve never seen such an adorable castanet design before. The surface texture feels nice, and it’s so easy for kids to play! It’s perfect not only for school but also for kindergarten and nursery music recitals. This is a fantastic gift for kids who love music and they can enjoy simple rhythm play.
By the way…
In the same series, besides the koala, there are also Frog, Duck, and Whale versions (^ - ^)
SUZUKI / MP-8 Music Pad
This is an instrument with a shape you don’t see very often, and when I first saw it, I too had wondered what it was.
This is a music pad that produces sound when the internal reeds vibrate! There are many ways to play it by pressing with your hands, stepping on it with your feet—basically, you can enjoy it using your whole body! It produces a harmonica-like tone, and you can control the volume by how hard you press, without worrying about being too loud (^ - ^). You can even line them up like a hopscotch game and play a “Which sound did the teacher play?” game for a fun musical challenge.
So far, I’ve introduced five products—did you find any that would bring the biggest smiles to your child?
Since each instrument produces different sounds and can be played in various ways, I hope you can find the perfect one for your child!
